Likewise, mean fluorescence intensities for each TKR and signaling node from the 12 dogs provided a small data set thus giving little power to detect non-Gaussian distributions and therefore were evaluated using a nonparametric analysis of Wilcoxon matched-pairs signed- rank test which assumes that the differences in groups are distributed symmetrically around their median.
If we split a small size sample into three ways, we would end up with so little data in each set that our analysis would lack any power.
First, we tried to modify as little as possible the data sets and compilations provided for building this map.
Since there is little difference between the data sets at 400°C, this confirms that the kinetics for Zn in-diffusion is rapid enough only above this temperature [27, 28].
For example in S. cerevisiae exposure to fatty acids dramatically induces the expression of genes encoding many peroxisomal proteins while concomitantly inducing the biogenesis and/or maturation of organelles; however, when compared to a fitness data set measuring growth of individual deletion strains on fatty acid-containing media, there is remarkably little overlap between the data sets [10].
Surprisingly, there was relatively little overlap in these data sets, with only 68 clusters appearing in both.
Even though more than 2200 B. cereus group isolates have been typed by either MLST, AFLP, or MLEE, there is very little overlap between the data sets investigated by the various methods.
However, it does not directly test whether branch length estimates are correct or not, nor how branch length estimates are impacted by replacing non-missing data with missing data (see [ 87] for results suggesting that such replacements have little effect in real data sets).
