To speed up the generation of lists of sample-specific k-mers from a collection of many genomes we have also implemented a function to find what we term the complement from union (Fig. 3).

The last column of Table 2 reports the list of samples considered outside the AD with all the approaches.
Table 1 reports the list of samples used in this study as well as information on the archaeological objects from which the samples were collected.
After loading the measurement file, list of samples and treatment steps will be displayed in the "Sample" and "Treatment" panels located on the right side of the software interface.
Some authors consider alternative methods of the message representation such as a representation by a single point, function value and a gradient at a point [6, 7] or a list of samples [6, 8, 12].
If the loaded measurement file contains data for multiple samples, a list of samples will be shown in the "Sample" list box, and users can click on a sample or use the up and down arrow keys to navigate from one sample to another to view data of that sample.
