When I asked about these, Parcell wrote to me that his clinic has a letter from Chesapeake IRB, an ethical review committee, "verifying the fact that we are participating in a chronic pain study on the UV" and that the listing for the study on clinicaltrials.gov is pending.
Every location or unit was asked to assign a coordinator for the survey and to provide an update client list for the study sampling.
Several centres also approached the host centre and the final centre participant list for the study was drawn, primarily based on resource availability at the local centres and the size of their home HD/RRT programme.
Twenty one were consecutively selected immigrants and a comparison group of 21 Swedish patients was included also consecutively among 128 Swedes from the inclusion list for the study that was registered by date.

The list for this study was acquired from the physicians' two orders and included information about the specialty and subspecialty (where applicable) of the physician, practice address and home and work phone numbers.
