The importance of these mutations in evolution is that they change the linkage relationships between genes.
Linkage relationships were analyzed by Quantitative Trait Loci (QTL /Simple Interval Mapping and Marker regression analysis with the MAPManager program (Meer et al. 2002) using the Kosambi mapping function (Kosambi 1944).
The region of falsely anchored scaffolds disturbed the normal linkage relationships in the graphic map of the genotypes and was not supported by normal syntenic analysis with the reference.
Realization of these opportunities depends on linkage relationships with the centromere (Table 4).
