The phrase "lightly connected" is correct and usable in written English.
It can be used to describe a weak or superficial relationship or association between two or more things.
Example: "The two concepts are lightly connected, but they can be understood independently."
Alternatives: "loosely related" or "slightly linked."
But once the basic necessities have been achieved, future income is lightly connected to well-being.
