The maximum lifespan value for each experimental group was below that of the Control group (Table 1).
The mean lifespan was 11 weeks (w) for GRZ and 30 w for MZM-0403, and the maximum lifespan values (maximum values always refer to 10% survivorship) were 16 w and 53 w, respectively, which were significantly different (P < 0.001, log-rank test).
The root lifespan of L. chinensis exhibited substantial dependence on their rhizomes such that severing rhizome led to an increase in root lifespan values, and that this increase in root lifespan was related to seasons for roots born and distribution in soil depth.
One important feature of L. chinesis roots is that its lifespan was much shorter compared to the reported lifespan values in the literature [5], [13], [23].

For nuclear rates, body mass is found to be the superior predictor, whether or not the outlying lifespan values are excluded, and, in either case, lifespan drops out in model simplification.
In contrast, for the nuclear data set, maximum lifespan dropped out of the model in favour of body mass – even when outlying lifespan values were removed (Tables 1, 2, 3).
We found no evidence for larger lifespan extensions to occur more often with shorter lived controls, which was further confirmed by including literature-mined median and mean lifespan values, analysing correlation of only significantly different changes, only positive changes, as well as analysing the correlation of median lifespan of the control and CoxPH coefficients all showing no correlation.
Neoplasms with variable lifespan blood vessels evolved higher values for the migration propensity and maximum migration distance than the other two resource input models (Figure 1).
