The college also has a "spouse/partner employment counselor" and a "queer life coordinator".
And since it isn't easy being gay or lesbian while away at college, a queer life coordinator can help such students focus on their studies.
"Re-envisioning education is what this is all about," said Rabbi Buechler, 25, who was ordained in May by the Conservative movement's Jewish Theological Seminary and is the middle school student life coordinator at Schechter.
"It's one cool visualization," says Open Tree of Life coordinator and evolutionary biologist Stephen Smith from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Sohaib Nazeer Sultan, co-president of the Association of Campus Muslim Chaplains and Princeton University's first Muslim life coordinator and chaplain, estimated that there are around 50 Muslim chaplains at U.S. colleges, including around 10 full-time.
Hajer Naili, a woman who participated in the video, Sana Saeed, author of a widely-shared critical post about the film, and Sohaib Sultan, Muslim life coordinator at Princeton University, also weighed in on the intense debate.
