The level of the stricture fortunately was not severe, but the colonic stenosis associated with adjacent effusion and the continuous nature of the patient's symptoms necessitated intrinsic treatments.
Esophagography showed a smooth circumferential stricture at the level of the lower margin of the sixth cervical vertebra (Fig. 4a), and an esophageal web was diagnosed.

In our case, according to the clinical images and biopsy obtained from the colonic erosion (low level of IgG4-positive cells), the colonic stricture was supposed to be secondary to the inflammation caused by AIP, rather than the colonic manifestation of IgG4-related systemic disorders.
This is based on the tendency of stricture dilatation to become progressively more stable after a number of dilatations, particularly with the tighter strictures.
The results noted that stricture (<1.0 cm) of anastomosis occurred in 12 patients, stricture (<0.5 cm) in 2 patients, and the total incidence of stricture was 14 of 123 (11.4 %).
2. Strictures and stent placement: the decision for need of stricture dilation, with either a balloon catheter or a Soehendra catheter, will be made by the treating endoscopist.
If symptoms of stricture recurred, additional dilations were performed until symptoms were relieved again.
The incidence of stricture (<1 cm) affected 14 of 123 patients (11.4 %).
Strictures may be localised at the level of the anastomosis, in the intra-hepatic portion or diffuse, as seen in cases of hepatic artery thrombosis with an incidence of 10%% as reported by Zoepf et al. [13].
