These included: improved knowledge about current regulations at both the local and health facility levels; clarification of the roles and responsibilities of staff at regional, rayon, and health facility levels; an increased sense of job responsibility regarding roles in the surveillance system; and increased ability of CPH staff to carry out critical surveillance functions.
