Expression of CvAP3 and CvSEP1 was detected and confirmed in leaves independent of tissue age for both flowering-related genes.

Leaving the realm of tissue imaging, two final studies address issues related to imaging of sub-cellular structures and function.
Primary switchgrass transformants and co-transformants were identified by PCR with total nucleic acid extracts from leaves of plants in tissue culture (REDExtract Plant PCR Kit, Sigma-Aldrich, St . Louis MO, USA) using primers specific for the coding regions of the transgenes (Table 3) and the amplification conditions described previously [ 7].
8 Excluding the cases in which FISH was not succeeded in the previous series (12 cases), informed consent for this extended study was not obtained from the patients (nine cases) and the cases in which the amount of tissue left was small (28 cases), 86 cases left.
The UPSC-TC (Tissue Comparison) experiment profiled gene expression in leaves (of various ages), wood tissues (phloem, xylem), root tissues, flowers and the three meristems (shoot apical, root, cambial) of hybrid aspen (P. tremula × P. tremuloides 'T89'), with each tissue type being profiled against a common reference formed by pooling equal quantities of RNA from all tissues.
However, since these lesions occurred naturally, it was impossible to fully standardize caries excavation, which may have led to a variation in the quality of the tissues left at the end of the caries excavation.
Subsequent tests of tissue left from the deceased donor found the infection, which was also diagnosed in the patients.
But she also left behind a slice of tissue, a piece excised from the cervical cancer that was her primary tumour.
