The target that each question should be answered correctly by 16 out of 20 consumers, was achieved for three of the 15 points in the EC leaflet, compared with eight in the Mark II leaflet.
Curiously, a very large amount of NBD SM (>13%) was translocated to the inner leaflet compared with the other NBD lipids examined (1 5%).
Just 7 (41%) of 17 Bangladeshi respondents who gave direct answers claimed to have read the leaflet (compared with 15/16 933%) of non-Bangladeshis); a further seven said that they had not and three said that other family members had read it for them.
In support of this, there was no significant differences between the overall numbers of NCCs in the aortic valve leaflets of mutant embryos compared with controls at E12.5 (P = 0.37; Figure 3 M), suggesting that the abnormalities in valve structure were not due to NCC deficiency.
Compared with leaflet provision, dietary intervention plus quadriceps strengthening exercises was both more costly (mean incremental cost £646.71, 95% confidence interval £578.15 to £709.62) and more effective (mean incremental effect 0.062, −0.035 to 0.167), with an estimated incremental cost per QALY gain (incremental cost effectiveness ratio) of £10 469.44 (£3738.28 to dominates) (table 1).
But the leaflets are old-fashioned instruments compared with some of the others that are being applied already or are likely to be used soon.
There was a 60% enhancement of glucan-to-glucose conversion by pretreatment at 210°C/10 min (100% conversion) compared with untreated leaflets (40% conversion).
At this stage, all three aortic valve leaflets had contributions from NCC, although the contribution was reduced in the non-coronary compared with the coronary leaflets.
Furthermore, students who watched the CAL package performed better in the last two sections of the questionnaire, compared with the leaflet group.
