We investigated how the protons' access to high latitudes varied depending on the energy and on the interplanetary magnetic field direction.
According to the geographical characteristics of the experimental province, the longitudes were in the range of 60 65°, the latitudes varied from 36 37° and the heights above the sea level were in the range of 860 1410 m.
Since the MA latitude only varies with (h_A) it is constant along field lines, while the QD latitude, which depends on the height h, is not.
Our results do agree with the CM4 model (see Fig. 7) and with the results reported by Torta et al.
