These data suggest that, similar to recordings at the NMJ of homozygous TBPH DD96−/− L3 loss-of-function larvae, pan-neuronal Gal4-mediated ELAV>Dcr2, TBPH-IR knockdown leads to impaired synaptic transmission (compare Supplementary Material, Fig. S10A and B with Fig. 4A, B).
