The reported system transforms an external stimulus into a large fluorescence intensity change, demonstrating great potential in developing new signal reporting method for biosensor design.
As can be seen in Fig. 3, the large fluorescence intensity bursts (Fig. 3B) gradually disappeared and the fluctuation pattern changed its complex form to regular fluorescence intensity fluctuations (Fig. 3C).
Such phenomena may produce a large fluorescence intensity change that cannot easily be distinguished from genuine fusion.
As seen in Figure 5, the amine-functionalized paper shows a very large fluorescence intensity with saturation level.
Similarly, variation in the maximum emission intensity was found with time and algal strain (Nannochloropsis sp. or Tetraselmis sp ., leading to the recommendation to use the largest fluorescence intensity signal following Nile red incubation lasting from 30 to 40 min [ 23].
Europium complex with β-diketones and two different phosphine oxides 8 was highly soluble in fluorinated medium, and realized largest fluorescence intensities.
However, S228P had a much larger Trp fluorescence intensity, implying that the mutation impaired the correct quenching of Trp fluorophores in native β/γ-crystallins (Chen et al., 2009; Chen et al., 2006; Kosinski-Collins et al., 2004).
PyB with the butyric group exhibited larger quenched fluorescence intensities and smaller released amounts than PyC and PyA in aqueous solutions and A549 cancer cells.
The combined enzymes show a much larger increase in fluorescence intensity with 2-AP at N + 1, N + 2, or N + 3 base pairs, but not at N + 4. As shown earlier with the DNAP, the increase in N + 3 is due to N + 2 base unstacking; therefore, the results indicate that the combined enzymes melt two base pairs downstream from the primer-end, just like T7 DNAP, but more efficiently.
The largest 2PA cross sections of all the chromophores located at 760 nm with the highest values 107 GM, 276 GM, and 96 GM, respectively, are depicted in Figure 4. T-2 owns the largest 2PA cross section in this spectral range, though T-1 has the largest two-photon fluorescence intensity in Figure 3.
