When addressing such an ample catalogue of rights, the opportunities innovation has to secure these rights will also be much larger (cf. Sunder [2012]).
In practical terms, two options exist in the interpretation of PC from spectra dominated by moving signals: (i) Make the bin width larger (cf. Fig. 5) so that most movements will occur inside the bins, or (ii) discard regions of the spectra where the movements occur.
The results of the iso-frequency study [29] may also differ from ours because of the nature of the recordings in that report (multi-unit), the pre-processing of the data (smoothing of correlation functions), the definition of the halfwidth used (which did not exclude background activity), and the larger CF discrepancy of the pair's (mean difference was 0.45+/−0.42 octaves).
Hence, a true motif is expected to produce a larger cf in the promoter regions (foreground) than the backgrounds for a given similarity threshold.
There was an association between the presence of the D allele ACE gene and the severity of CF. Further studies are needed to verify the pro-inflammatory activity of this gene in CF, along with a larger CF population with homogeneous CFTR mutation; suggesting that in this case, a multicenter study is necessary.
A concordance tree was built from clades with the largest CFs to represent the dominant evolutionary history of Rickettsia.
Spontaneous shedding (in the absence of any ligand binding) of large CFs from viable cells has been described in certain circumstances (Black, 1980; Loor, 1980; Kaplan and Keogh, 1982).
Although shedding is often cited as an alternative fate of capped Ab (Schreiner and Unanue, 1976; Loor, 1980) (in addition to the predominant endocytotic pathway), the shedding of large CFs as described herein has not been described previously, to our knowledge.
The striking outcome we find here is that R&D investment under regime (P) can be the largest (cf. Fig. 2, green area).
