"Don't translate, learn languages," said Godard to Cohn-Bendit.
The disc jockeys often banter in a mix of English and Indian languages, said Kulraaj Anand, the station's director.
Wednesday's special edition will be translated into 16 languages, said Patrick Pellou, a columnist at the magazine.
But Teresa Tinsley, from Speak to the Future, the campaign for languages, said parental expectations also play a big part.
The agency already provides live and phone interpretation services in more than 100 languages, said its spokeswoman, Lisi de Bourbon.
"They are apparently different languages," said Gale. "By putting them together you start to read each in a different way".
They realize there's a fan base out there that wants constructed languages," said Matt Pearson, a linguistics professor at Reed College in Portland, Ore.
"She really is learning new languages," said Risa Steinberg, a Juilliard professor and former José Limón dancer who assisted with rehearsals for "Restless Creature".
Classical and modern architecture speak "two different languages," said Mahesh Senagala, an architect at the University of Texas at San Antonio, who designs memorials that incorporate solar elements.
"Especially after 9/11, parents are looking at the curriculum and saying American children should be learning more foreign languages," said Nancy Rhodes, the center's director.
"Right now, everyone's in the linguistic mobilization phase of 'Do we have anyone who speaks these languages?' " said Rory J. Cowan, the chief executive of Lionbridge.
