Our analysis showed that both R. albus strains encode for dockerin-containing proteins, as has been noted previously [ 27], but lacked representatives of the dockerin family IPR002105 as well as in both cohesin families.
Although the GH33 and GH85 families are small, with one to two members each in Arabidopsis, rice, Brachypodium, and sorghum, it was surprising that poplar would completely lack representatives of these families.
