Examination of the resulting acidocalcisome fraction by light microscopy revealed a homogenous population of vesicles which labeled intensely with a poly P-sensitive modified DAPI staining protocol (Fig. 2D, DAPI) and which, when examined by electron microscopy, revealed typical electron-dense acidocalcisome morphology (Fig. 2C).
In the gray matter between inflammatory nodules, scattered individual neurons labeled intensely.
Probe KK3.4 (green fluorescence) labels intensely only one of the two genomes in A. agadiriana (Fig. 1a), to a slightly lesser extent, one of the two genomes in A. murphyi (Fig. 1b), and one of the three genomes in A. sterilis (Fig. 1c).

The neoplastic emboli were intensely labelled by the anti-fascin antibody, independent of the staining intensity of the surrounding tumour cells, and were often conatined in CD34-immunoreative sinusoidal spaces.
To confirm the nature of intensely labelled Na v1.1-immunopositive cells in the frontal cortex specifically, double-labelling immunofluorescent studies were undertaken with three different markers of interneurons (glutamic acid decarboxylase, neuropeptide Y and parvalbumin), confirming that these cells are likely to be inhibitory cells (Fig. 9D F).
In each transverse-sectioned vascular pair, one element was intensely labelled, and the adjacent one showed only slight or negligible reaction.
