In two cases (CSR, BRh6), where the injection additionally involved the parvocellular division of the medial dorsal nucleus, labelled cells were more numerous but the relative distribution of label was very similar to that in the other cases.
John Ortolano, president of the Fraternal Order of Police, said the racist label was "very disturbing" to him and his fellow officers, the majority of whom are not white, adding that it "couldn't be further from the truth".
In the caudomedial lobule, this label was very strongly associated with layers I and III(IV) of area 29a c (see Figs. 10B,C).
The distribution of cingulate label was very consistent, with area 23 containing the majority of thalamic inputs, although there were differences in label density (Table 2).
While most label was in the injection hemisphere, the distribution of label was very similar in the two hemispheres (Fig. 10).
In the rest of area 23c, label was very diffusely scattered in both the upper and lower banks of the cingulate sulcus, and this light label continued caudally into area 31.
