Trout were reared in 150 L tanks supplied with 4 L min− 1 of constant temperature (14.8 °C) flow-through spring water.
These values were chosen based on the grain size and pore size distributions of the sample {l}_{mathrm{resume}}={l}_{mathrm{supply}}{left(frac{r_{mathrm{narrow}}}{r_{mathrm{supply}}}right)}^4left(frac{r_{mathrm{wide}}}{r_{mathrm{narrow}}}-1right -{l}}-1right -{l{r_{mathrm{narrow}}-1right -{l{wide}_1{left)}^4, (13)where l supply is the distance frac{r_{mathrm{narrow} rock to the junction.
If the parameters listed in Fig. 10f are used as an example, and the rock porosity is assumed to be formed by repeated unit pores as in Fig. 10a, then l resume exceeds 300 μm (l narrow) when the height of capillary rise (l supply) is above 6 mm.
Analogously, the L e consist of the labor L ex supplied by those with the same education but different amounts of labor market experience, aggregated according to a CES structure with weights θ ex and elasticity of substitution σ ex.
The experimental system comprised 1 m, 500 L tanks supplied by flow-through seawater (15 L min− 1) at ambient temperature that averaged 10.2 ± 0.6 °C.
The stack can stably operate for about 50 h with 1.5 L fuel supplied, and its high durability was confirmed by the 240 h continuous life time test.
Experimental treatments were carried out in 15 L tanks supplied with unfiltered sea water from the reef flat with a flow rate of 0.4 L per min. Tanks were independently heated and water pumps (250 L per hour) were used within each tank, to provide additional flow and support even heating.
The difference in the dependencies on the initial concentration of I– and L– cells was consistent with the differences in the features of nutrient supply found in the monocultures: only L– cells supplied Ile even in the absence of amino acids in monoculture as described above (Fig. 1E).
These results suggested that initially L– cells supplied Ile promoting the growth of I– cells.
In our studies, each tank (30 L) was supplied with a relatively low water exchange rate (30 L/day), mainly to minimize the relatively high costs of artificial seawater.
