For a while now, the notion has been floating around that I should become Professor DeWhyse, role model, academic, purveyor of knowledge, teacher, scholar, virtue personified.
This partnership blended two very different cultures in the workshop leadership, modeling the multiple roles teachers were expected to adopt: guider in acquisition of knowledge (teacher), seeker of new knowledge (scientist), and questioner of both (everyone).

PCK refers to the knowledge teachers require to adequately teach certain content.
