The upstream reach near Weiser, Idaho flows through a broad, 3 km wide river valley (Fig. 4) with extensive floodplain zones and terraces dominated by agricultural development.
The lake is 120 miles (190 km) long and up to 50 miles (80 km) wide, although it was much more extensive in the past.
Flinty, jagged rocks occurred near the surface, and the sharp fall of the river some 130 feet (40 metres) in 37 miles (60 km)—produced extensive rapids.
Both blocks belong to different units: RRSZ exhibits 500 to 900 km in extensive left-lateral displacement (Chung et al.1997; Wang et al. 2001).
As depicted by Figure 3, LOS scenarios are the most common scenarios for high-speed rail broadband mobile communication, as the cell radius of track-side base stations is usually less than 3 km and extensive use of viaducts and bridges along the high-speed rail line.
While such a scenario might seem extreme, many rivers in North America within 300 km of extensive salmon aquaculture now harbour exclusively farm spawning populations or populations composed of a mix of spawners that include a very high proportion of farmed individuals (Morris et al. 2008).
About 100 miles (160 km) long and 15 30 miles (24 48 km) wide, the inlet divides into several smaller fjords extending eastward to the inland ice cap, where they are fed by extensive glaciers.
Some bioleaching heaps are very extensive; for example, the Escondida mine in northern Chile is putting into operation a heap that is 5 km long by 2 km wide and 126 m high (David Dew, personal communication).
These estimates agree well with that determined from crustal thinning for the northern and central potions of the sag, but significant discrepancy occurs between the southern edge of the sag and the present continent ocean boundary, where the crustal thickness is less than 20 km and potentially extensive magmatic intrusion was well imaged in the seismic profiles.
The island is only 2.9km (2 miles) long, but the entire tidal zone with all the concentric zones is 24.5 km long, surrounded by extensive sandbanks in the tidally exposed area.
