I tried out a whole Times Square's worth of LED bulbs and kits from six manufacturers.
To that point, Charlsie Agro, host of CBC's Marketplace, and her twin sister sent for DNA test kits from five companies: 23andMe, AncestryDNA, MyHeritage, FamilyTreeDNA and Living DNA.
We used assay kits from two manufacturers, StanBio and Sigma.
Chilamakuri et al. (2014) compared the target regions of the human kits from three providers (NimbleGen SeqCap EZ v3.0 – 64.1Mb; Agilent SureSelect V4 – 51.1Mb; and Illumina TruSeq and Illumina Nextera original version and protocol – 62.08 Mb).
Low (20 to 49 median fluorescence units, MFU), medium (50 to 100 MFU), and highly (>100 MFU) reactive samples (15 each) were selected based on the ALBIA results and analysed on HEp-2 slide kits from three different suppliers: INOVA, Euroimmun (Lübeck, Germany), and ImmunoConcepts.
For the remaining 133 patients and 97 control samples a Labtype SSO kit from One Lambda, (Canoga Park, CA, USA) was used according to the manufacturer's instructions as described earlier [2].

Codes are provided for 64 autosomal STR loci, 64 X-STRs, and 135 Y-STRs as well as 88 DNA kits from the three major manufacturers.
There may be drum kits coming from one band, cabs from others that only certain bands can use etc, but as long as you have it all written down, it should be fairly easy to keep track of.
