"Very often kids say, 'I'm taking all the medicine, but why am I getting this again and again?
Although kids today, I argue very often, have everything much easier than in the 1980s – Asos deliveries, iPads, 4G, better, less flammable hair products and so on – I have great sympathy for one new development on Planet Teenager: the war on "sick-note culture".
When I was a kid I never went very often to see serious theatre, although every year we would go as a family to a Christmas show.
Very often the kids are standing around and just listening to the teacher talk.
"Very often, the kids know even more about cluster bombs and the risk they pose than the adults do," said Lina, 15. "One boy in my area warned his dad to stay away from a cluster bomb when he saw he wasn't scared".
"Secondly, even when the kids do arrive in the school, very often the schools don't pay sufficient attention to the fact that there are very, very different groups in the playground and they don't attend to the need to bring them together".
"My kids don't like to eat at school very often because the foods are frozen," Rodriguez said.
"We find that very often we do a disservice to our kids when they come to depend on just one person," she said.
"Very often with the college demographic, we have kids who are underage," said Nancy Schwartzman, co-creator of the mobile app Circle of 6.
