SOUTH ORANGE South Orange Performing Arts Center "Russian American Kids Circus," featuring acrobatics, unicycling, expert juggling, daring aerial feats and balancing acts.
On a stage at Grand Army Plaza, the performers will include the Russian American Kids Circus, the Maimouna Keita School of African Dance and the rock singer Corey Glover.
Scheduled this year are Eastern Indian drums and dance by Naada Brahma, Oluwaseyi Modupue's Afro-Cuban Folk Group and the Russian American Kids Circus.
A Russian Circus The Russian American Kids Circus was founded in 1994 by three Russian émigrés -- Alex Berenchstein, a Moscow Circus acrobat-juggler; his wife, Regina; and her mother, Olga Partigul.
Children themselves are the performers in the Russian American Kids Circus, which features boys and girls ages 6 through 16 riding unicycles, juggling and doing acrobatics, often at the same time, in a show on Dec. 29.
In sum, my regimen was to eat pure fat (coconut oil) for late breakfast, savor a protein-rich lunch, followed by 6pm training, then hold a fat-kid circus till I passed out from sugar overload five days a week.
