It is time this was changed, especially if one takes the view that extra-judicial statements should be minimal.
If you can fathom that Trump loses by a close margin, can you then imagine that he would not seek to recuse Justice Ginsburg (assuming, as is likely, that the case made its way to the Court, which is already down one justice), based on extra-judicial statements he would likely assert were biased and prejudicial.
A judicial panel statement issued by the Scottish Football Association said: "Further to the judicial panel hearing yesterday involving Josh Meekings, the panel considered initial submissions from Mr Meekings' solicitor.

The testimony of witnesses, documentary evidence, expert statements and judicial decisions are mostly still secret.
Georgia law prohibits false or misleading statements by judicial candidates and establishes a commission to consider complaints.
"I thought this was a federal law," said Justice Scalia, who is hostile to judicial consideration of legislators' statements in determining what laws mean.
