On the basis of the theoretical framework, indicators were selected for farmland quantity and quality indicators and climatic factors using expert judgment, observation, and vulnerability literatures (Iyengar and Sudarshan 1982; Moss et al. 2001; Sullivan et al. 2002; ICRISAT 2006; UNDP 2010) (Table 2).
