'jailbreak' is a correct and usable word in written English
It is used to refer to the act of escaping from imprisonment or the act of unlocking a device such as a phone, tablet or computer so that it can run software that it is not normally authorized to run. An example sentence: "The prisoner attempted a daring jailbreak from the maximum security prison."
