Based on the symptoms 13 – 20, a group of experts (oncologist, internist, gastroenterologist, somnologist, general practitioner and statistician) formulated twelve items on the topics of meaningfulness, manageability and resilience in dealing with cancer disease and formation of perspective.
Table 7 summarizes the percent correct statistics for Japanese fourth grade students for the 11 items of the "Human Health" topic, along with international averages and some item information.

We then rephrased some of the questions and put different emphasis on some of the items in the topic list: although we asked respondents about all treatment decisions that had been made, we focused more on the decision when further treatment was withheld.

We added four items from the topic list of Peters that were relevant for our target group: specificity of guideline recommendations, knowledge of physical therapists, skills of physical therapists, and required time investment for using the guideline.

Items that fall outside of the topic area of health or social care will be excluded.
While the endeavour was to focus on individual items related to the topic of T2T, the Expert Committee felt so convinced on the principal nature and truthfulness of this statement that 91.8% of the experts accepted it.
Likewise, the topic familiarity test was presented to content validators prior to the testing date to ascertain whether the items were within the scope of the topic under study and whether or not the items were understandable and within the level of the students being tested.
