The FluiiQ™ is a multi-dimensional instrument designed to improve on the ISS and IIWS, with domains measuring influenza symptoms (10 items), impact on daily activities (6 items), impact on emotions (4 items), and impact on others (5 items).
An initial 116-item questionnaire was developed that was organized around the following modules: dry eye symptom-bother (37 items); dry eye impact on daily life, including impact on daily activities (21 items), emotional impact due to dry eye (32 items), impact on work due to dry eye (8 items); satisfaction with overall treatment (9 items) and satisfaction with eye drops (9 items).
The test version of the VAPI questionnaire contained 44 items divided into 6 main domains covering the level of bother caused by ISR (9 items), impact of reactions on subjects' emotional well-being (8 items), physical functioning (18 items), social activities (2 items), and on subjects' acceptance of vaccination (4 items) and intention to be vaccinated again (3 items).

In order to assess the item impact on signal polarization, the cross-polar discrimination (XPD) values have been extracted from the measured data and are reported in the last column of Table 2.
The single-item impact on QoL is highly correlated with the multiple-item AWI-18, so that we will use only the AWI-18 for further analyses.
The TRS monthly version item "impact on life" and the TRS monthly version total score (only done in the US, resulting in a smaller sample) were moderately correlated (0.23 ≤ r ≤ 0.48).
After multitrait analysis and item reduction, the final questionnaire consisted of 44 items in five scales, Symptom Severity (13 items); Child's Behaviour (6 items); Parents' Worries due to Symptoms (8 items); Parents' Distress (7 items); and Impact on Parents' Daily Activities (10 items).
The IOI-HA presents seven questions addressing the amount of HA use (item 1), benefit (item 2), residual activity limitation (item 3), satisfaction (item 4), residual participation restriction (item 5), impact on others (item 6), and change of quality of life (item 7).
But, because this price war involves just ten items, its impact on revenue will be small, and outweighed by the positive effects of all the publicity.
Even with these short assessments, the algorithm markedly reduced the number of test items; the impact on our target population would be even more substantive if this algorithm were applied to lengthier competency assessments.
