CCTV technology can now be programmed to spot particular security threats.
The system was programmed to visit each spot on the array, perform autofocus, and acquire DAPI and FITC (GFP).
The microarrayer was programmed to print 16 single pre-spots, 12 spots with a 25 ms dwell with two 7 sec, 60°C wash and dries between picking up clones.
The printer, as shown in these videos, isn't exactly printing in full color — it's essentially only good at building bands of color around a device — but it could be programmed to add spot color in the right places.
It could also be programmed to land in a specific spot (perhaps its starting point outside a building, for example) once its job is done.
"These apps are promoted as a means to help catch a cheating spouse or keeping loved ones safe" Ken said, continuing "they have to be downloaded to the target phone but only take a few minutes to install". Once installed they can be hard to spot as they are programmed to run stealthily.
In several years, digital mammography will probably use computer-aided detection, or C.A.D. The computers will be programmed to highlight potential hot spots for the radiologist, possibly finding cancers that a human cannot.
