'it is much appreciated' is a grammatically correct and usable phrase in written English. It is used to express gratitude and appreciation to someone for doing something. For example: "Thank you for going out of your way to help me. It is much appreciated.".
"I am fortunate to have received many wishes of support and I want to thank everybody who has sent messages, it is much appreciated".
This was the right thing to do and it is much appreciated by all those who were in attendance, including me.
