Work/family conflicts are a serious issue; faculty members, particularly female faculty members, find themselves performing a balancing act in order to fulfill the expectations attached to both family and academic roles.
She has extensive experience in the classroom and in administrative roles dealing with curriculum development, diversity issues, faculty development and issues regarding education, equity and access.
These issues include: intellectual property and copyright issues; faculty incentives (financial, recognition); faculty development; and, student contributions and privacy.
