We introduce an approach to address this issue that uses progressive refinement of the set of selectable objects to reduce the required precision of the task.
Ideally, we will all be equal partners and no one will think twice about a dad as a primary caregiver the way that no one cares anymore about issues that used to baffle us even fifty years ago.
Now, with the global economy on the brink of a double-dip recession, the issues that used to dominate the meetings – debt relief, aid budgets, millennium development goals – have been pushed well down the agenda.
She wants to talk about the issues that used to be so prominent but now seem never to get attention: urban blight, segregation and the misery caused by hunger and homelessness.

"You do see the kinds of issues here that used to be brought up in Berkeley, international affairs and ideological issues, as opposed to the bread-and-butter issues that used to dominate Richmond," said Eric Zell, a local political consultant who has worked for the city and Chevron.
"The issues that used to be on the positive side of the ledger are increasingly on the negative side of the ledger, starting with North Korea," Bonnie Glaser, a China scholar at the Washington-based Center for Strategic and International Studies, said in an interview last week.
The Western world still has prickly problems to confront: The progressive disappearance of the great issues that used to fire our minds has resulted in a narrow intellectual life — just as the possibility of reaching new horizons has considerably increased thanks to modern means of communication.
"Issues that used to stay confined to hallways or locker rooms now find their way onto Facebook and Twitter," he said, adding that he also understood that the economy was putting strains on families, with adolescents having to baby-sit for siblings while their parents work extra shifts.
Because it's a small office, most urgent issues that used to come up over email are now handled in person or with a quick phone call or text.
