We turned to Food Issue contributors for their opinions.
In this Special Issue, contributors examine the relationships between pastoralism and wildlife from several angles, based on case studies from Argentina, Australia, China, East Africa, Kenya, Finland, Southern Africa, Tanzania, UK and USA.
Our introduction draws on an extensive literature review as well as the special issue contributors who examine institutional change in a variety of policy sectors in Africa, South Asia, Latin America, and North America.
In one issue, a contributor "questions her own existence as a videogame academic," a non-tenured position whose very existence this twelve-year-old Nintendo Power reader could hardly have imagined.
Each plate is etched or embossed with an image and, as with every issue, the contributors' list is impressive.
For printaholics, we'll have copies of the photo issue, and contributors Nick Gazin and Maggie Lee (among others) will be DJing.
And though a truly curious reader could find Lemann's affiliation with Columbia under a list of the issue's contributors on page four, the magazine does not make Lemann's dual role as a New Yorker writer and dean clear in the article itself, on page 23.
And in the spirit of what we are setting out to achieve – providing a platform for genuine debate on progressive issues – our contributors have come from across the broad spectrum of the Labour movement.
In last weekend's Lives They Lived issue, the longtime contributor to the magazine Christoph Niemann sketched a clever, touching tribute to Maurice Sendak.
Just before press time, it fell to new chairman Steve Forbes to diplomatically suggest to the editor that the first issue's star contributor, Richard M. Nixon (see page 83), might chafe at appearing alongside FYI's high-profile home security columnist, G. Gordon Liddy (see page 85).
