The remaining 15 patients with changed RFLP isolate profile between T0 and T8 were likely re-infected or had mixed infections.
The 14 remaining patients with a different RFLP isolate profile at T0, (four pan-susceptible, four mono-resistant, two HS resistant and four MDR strains) and T8 had a MDR strain at the end of treatment.
