Jobs are defined separately for each country on the basis of 2-digit occupational codes (ISCO 2-digit).18 Due to the small sample sizes, armed forces (ISCO code 0) are dropped.

Finally, we complemented the database by matching the type of dual VET qualification pursued with three-digit ISCO codes, using the 2008 nomenclature,5 thus classifying all fields of dual VET into occupations.

Hence, the English version of the JEM contains 556 occupational titles and 157 ISCO codes.
