Discouraging as it all may seem, the good news is that people who are substantially overweight can benefit from reducing even a little -- dropping just 10percentt of one's body weight and sometimes even less can lower blood pressure, cholesterol and the risk of diabetes.
Various medications can have an impact, and so can being substantially overweight or underweight.
