In a Vanity Fair article asking whether Silicon Valley was in another tech bubble, Nick Bilton quoted an overheard comment that sums up this mindset: "SF tech culture is focused on solving one problem: what is my mother no longer doing for me?" Many of these companies will fail, but here's the real tragedy: the time and talent wasted on problems that aren't really problems at all.
