Ultrasound biomicroscopy showed the presence of homogenous mass in the inferotemporal quadrant arising from the sclera and episclera without any intraocular involvement (Figure 2).
We observed reduced surface-bound FH when HUVECs were incubated with the serum from dSSc patients (Fig. 8), in particular in dSSc patients with pulmonary involvement (Figure inset).
Consistently, the majority of young patients (group 1) presented with multisystem disorders or Pearson syndrome; whereas most (68 to 78%) of older patients (groups 2, 3, and 4) were diagnosed with MM, PEO, KSS, or multisystem involvement (Figure 5).
When we combined the first dataset and the second dataset together, the LOWESS smoothing plot showed the same trend, i.e., that older women had a lower probability of LN involvement (Figure 2C).
In the current study, we showed that LA-induced [Ca2+]m efflux and peroxynitrite generation were inhibited by 17-DMAG and, more specifically, hsp90β1 RNAi, indicating the hsp90β1 involvement (Figure 5).
Given the involvement of figures like Christopher Harvie (Cif's friend in the north) in the drafting, one would have expected something definitive.
Linear regression analysis confirmed a fall in operative deaths following surgery, increased consultant involvement (p=0.005) (figure 1), increased use of HDU/ITU (p=0.026) (figure 2), increased operation within 2 h (p=0.088) (figure 3).
In AL patients, OPG levels correlated with N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) levels (r=0.41, P<0.001; Figure 2a) and were slightly higher in patients with cardiac involvement (P=0.028; Figure 2b).
The presented project is still ongoing in its community involvement phase (Figure 7), and the analysis of results will follow in the next phases of research.
Conversely, three neuronal-related miRNAs, miR-129-3p/5p and miR-132, were associated with pathological involvement (see Figure 5).
