Our finite fault inverse method carries out the waveform inversion in the wavelet domain and applies a simulated annealing method to simultaneously invert slip amplitude, rake angle, rupture initiation time, and the shape of an asymmetric function for each subfault (Ji et al., 2002, 2003).
