The only difference between the present motif and the standard HTH motif is the inversion of position of the DNA recognition helix (α4 helix) and of the so-called stabilizing helix (α5) (Fig. 1e).
Moreover, for the succeeding values of i that is up to N/4, the inversion bit position is the sum of previous iteration value and 2. For N = 8, the values of X 1 = 5 and X 2 = 7, so the fifth and seventh bit has to be inverted in the first and second row as implemented in Figure 9.
The reasoning behind the inversion in position of CoIII and LnIII cf. FeIII and LnIII (e.g. (1)) is still unknown and not speculated upon by the authors, though there is an obvious dependence on synthetic route, judging by this and also the latest results from Powell [14].
Gene rearrangement events comprise three classes, i.e., translocation, local inversion (inverted but remaining in the position), and shuffling with remote inversion (translocated and inverted) [ 21].
Figures 11(a)–(d) show that the inversion recovered the conductivity and the position of the anomalous body with sufficient accuracy.
The outcome of the recombination can be site-specific excision, integration, inversion or translocation depending on the position and the relative orientation of the two recognition sites on the DNA molecules (either linear or circular form), and the type of reaction is dependent on enzyme type.

The results already indicate that more Eu3+ occupied the position with the inversion symmetry in host lattices.
The position of contrast inversion cannot be extracted exactly from our experimental data but is apparently located at a wavelength of approximately 550 nm or larger.
