Participants were randomly assigned to one of three interview modalities: a once-off in-depth interview (IDI); serial ethnographic interviews (EI) repeated up to four times; or a focus group discussion (FGD).
This study allowed us to estimate the human resources needed to achieve effective recruitment set (inclusion period of a year per center), and favor interview modalities with the lowest rate of missing data (interview in the research center).
