The study interventions and methodologies were too heterogeneous to allow for a meaningful statistical comparison of results between treatments. Figure 1 shows mean remission rates for specific interventions.

The design, justification of such an intervention and methodology of outcome measures is the subject of a previous published protocol paper by the same authors [ 16].
