The task of planetary scientists within COSPAR would be to survey and evaluate all known planetary environments with regards to their scientific value (or even uniqueness), sensitivity to intervention, difficulty or ease of access by space probes etc.

While those studies did not include an intervention, the difficulties described by them may help us to explain why in the present study, although combined intervention contributed to increasing revision, correction attempts continued to be insufficient in relation to the total text errors after the intervention.
The stated reasons for withdrawal were inability or unwillingness to make the time commitment for the intervention, scheduling difficulties, and, in one case, severity of symptoms, warranting referral for CBT on an individual basis (see Table 2).
Reasons given for this included the challenge of measuring and attributing long-term intervention effects, difficulties in accessing and interpreting (sometimes contradictory) research evidence, as well as a perceived lack of political interest in evidence of such outcomes.
The reasons for this are likely multifactorial, but may relate to proper diagnosis of ALRI, inability to decrease exposure to necessary levels, insufficient sustainability and adoption of interventions, or difficulties with the implementation of interventions within various low-income settings.
It was also encouraging to see a large number of people applying for these posts, suggesting that it would be possible to scale up this intervention without difficulty.
While randomized clinical trials (RCTs) are considered to be the gold standard for assessing the efficacy of interventions, the difficulties with RCTs specifically for assessment of surgical procedures in spinal disorders are acknowledged (Jacobs et al. 2012a).
A recent commentary by Thomson (2008) reflects on some of the obstacles to effective evaluation of such interventions, including difficulties with tracking individuals in regeneration areas, identifying suitable comparison groups or areas, and monitoring all components of these complex interventions in order to identify mechanisms leading to health changes.
