The analysis of NO3−-N concentration and its isotopic signature (δ15N-NO3− and δ18O-NO3) identifurtherrther connections between screen interval depths and an up-gradient organic point source with elevated NO3−-N migrating at this depth and different transformation processes occurring at different depths.
Whereas the density of breakouts is high in clay-rich intervals, depth sections without clay are characterized by an absence of breakouts, as for example at 4,180, 4,480 to 4,590, and 4,730 to 4,800 m (BA in Figure 4).
Bulk density and C and N concentrations were measured in 5cm intervals (0 10cm depth) and 10cm intervals (10 60cm depth).
The interval of depth contour is 25 m.
