A short distance past this intersection, the road becomes a four-lane undivided road that crosses New Jersey Transit's Pascack Valley Line before coming to an interchange with Route 17.

Past this intersection, the road continues east as County Route 514 (CR 514).
After this intersection, the road heads into wooded residential areas as a two-lane undivided road and enters Brookeville.
At this intersection the road is a four-lane undivided highway, and soon after the intersection the road becomes a two-lane highway.
