Write your internal citations.
Internal citations should clearly refer to a source listed on your works cited page.
MLA internal citations include the author's last name and the page number from which you pulled the information.
APA internal citations include the author's last name and the year the book or article was published, separated by a comma.
The format of internal citations is also determined by whether or not you refer to the author in the text of your paper, if there are multiple authors, and more.
