Specifically, potentiometric titration has been used intensively as a cheap, accessible, easy to handle, and highly informative intermediate technique, permitting the researcher to characterize natural complex systems, such as humic substances, from the thermodynamic perspective of equilibrium constants and to quantify/qualify the proton exchange properties of the samples [7 11].
This intermediate proportion is informative primarily because a small proportion can indicate split distributions.
