Literacy status was identified by asking mothers whether they had attended formal school, and if they had, then the total number of years of formal schooling was recorded and the respondent was later categorised into one of the four levels: primary, secondary, intermediate, or bachelor and above.
A Educational level was categorized as follows: Low (no title), Medium-Low (primary school degree), Medium-Upper (intermediate degree), Upper (high school, bachelor or higher); B We categorized as severe the following chronic diseases: diabetes, cardiac disease, stroke, neoplasm, chronic pulmonary obstructive disease, Alzheimer and other forms of dementia and cirrhosis.
Low educational level was defined as vocational school or lower, intermediate as higher national diploma or Bachelor's degree and high as a Master's degree or higher.
Oxford College, as part of Emory's undergraduate bachelor's program, offers introductory and intermediate courses that contribute to undergraduate degrees in eighty-five majors, the most popular being economics, psychology, biology, business administration, neuroscience and behavioral biology, and political science.
By and large, our study participants were relatively well educated; Bachelor degree holders (48%), and of low to intermediate economical level (500 1000 JD), as shown in Table 1.
